There is another guy with a similar track record based in the Kansas/Missouri area. Pops up at various places with big plans and lots of hot air, gets small city councils ands chambers of commerce all fired up about his latest plan, then kind of fades away.
Among other things, this guy was going to start a tourist railroad on the old Rock Island line in central Missouri. The one that hasn't seen a train in almost 30 years and would take a major logging operation just to find the right of way. The track was/is two streaks of rust on splinters and buried in the mud. He kept that scheme going for a couple of years, then slunk away.
He has a fancy corporate name, high-sounding ideals, and pink stationary, but has never accomplished anything at all.
