Some foamer information is just plain wrong. Even railroad authors feed on each other. In doing research I have been amused reading the first printed version of an erroneous story that says "It is rumored that....." The next version states this information as a fact. Later books continue to state the wrong infomation as a fact.

If I am writing history, I try to confirm information from two separate sources that do not feed on each other.
