Actually, the poll's results are meaningless.
Statistically significant, and therefore useful polls, use at least 900 people so as to have a small margin of error (3.3%), and they use a random sample of people. This so-called "poll" in Santa Cruz county is only available to people with an internet connection, does not prevent multiple votes from the same people, and is self-selected, that is people who know about and are interested in the issue and the poll.
This is yet another gross misuse of technology and ignorance of math and statistics. Politicians who draw "conclusions" from this garbage should be kicked out of office. Sadly, most of the voting public doesn't have a clue.
