Watching this saga unfold from afar, a poll is supported by both those who are for and those against. Readers of this forum are obviously for but represent a small minority of SC residents. There will be those in the community who will support the railway but probably more, knowing Santa Cruz, will be against it.

The railway is there, been there for ages and will stay there. It is well established and is an attraction to families and tourists spending time and money in the area. To have two operating railways in the area is one of the main reasons a lot visit in the first place.
