Lawns? In a drought? How foolish! Just where do they
expect to get the water for lawns and gardens? And for
those who say, "Use reclaimed water" -- all reclaimed
water should be further cleaned up and turned into
drinking water. Orange County is doing that, and
every "sanitary" district must begin doing that ASAP, too.

I love lawns and gardens as much as anyone, but we here
in California are living in a near desert, and we have to
understand that and act accordingly. Sigh.....

I doubt there is enough water for both essential human
needs and lawns and gardens with the precipitation we are
now getting and at present rates of consumption. That is sad.

I was really sad to see the businesses that supported
the railroad -- and thus the railroad -- go. Just
another sign of what is wrong with this country.
Sigh.....
