Well, these questions are being asked because perhaps getting our oil from over here and moving it without wiping entire towns off the map (oh wait, you don't care if it's not YOUR town, or YOUR race, or YOUR political alignment dying in those infernos! Check your privilege, you prejudiced, sopilistic scumlord!) is preferable to importing oil from people who shell out cash to our sworn enemies. Unless of course there's some conservative hegemonical conspiracy and/or warmongering back there, or it's just plain old ideological dissonance.

Either way I don't get that kind of logic. If we're drawing comparisons, folks of your ilk want to set us back to 1933 and move us to the Weimar Republic. Despicable.
