Anything that would make shipping one hundred plus carload trains of crude safer should be very welcomed. Last weeks derailment of corn into the Feather river might have been eleven carloads of crude. That equates to about 330,000 thousand gallons of oil into the river. Look at the photos of the derailment . Even the cars on top with there lids open would have ended up with oil in the river. The last I heard the cause was a suspected broken rail.
