I'm waiting… When next you aver nightmare scenarios, take the trouble to read the latest historical literature on the subject, and do remember that the currency of the United States is in Federal hands, which means under the aegis of the Republican party for most of the last half-century, and most of all GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT1
The German hyper-inflation was brought under control by the Stresemann government before the end of the 20's! I know, for you non-specialists the details don't matter as long as you make your (unsupported) opinion/point, but it amuses us specialists and we get to point and laugh.
