The one thing the two loony tune political fringes have most in common today is this interesting ability to believe some really dumb things, they've supposedly heard, or misheard, or twisted to there interpretation, but can't really prove, or disprove, and don't really know......

As any good behavioral psychologist can tell you, once, folks come to truly believe whatever the nonsense is, that they are already predisposed to believe in, they become utterly and completely impervious to being shown they might be wrong from mere facts.

Pointing it out, just tends to infuriate them even more.

So to these fringes, Evil Thomas apparently symbolizes either the looming destruction of the cute furry critters and our planet, or the evil "gubmint" seizing our guns and bringing about the second coming of Hitler.

However, to paraphrase Freud: Sometimes a train is just a train.....
