One waited for the southbound Starlate in Redding for a trip to San Jose. Slated to arrive at 2:21am only for the train to arrive at 8:00am. Positive side was I got to enjoy the entire trip during Daylight. Although while waiting for the train the Amtrak bus service across the tracks was sure on time and frequent.
