SMART will kill more trespassers than have crossing fatalities. The railroad did'nt run for ten years plus. People have been using the ROW as a walking path for as long as they can remember. When they do see a train maybe twice a week it mops along at 25 MPH. If SMART runs at 79 MPH there will be people run over often. Unlike AMTRAK people riding the rail buses will see the whole event as it unfolds in graphic color. . The poor homeless will have no where to live.
