I think that the tunnel near Erie St. used to be for the MILW. Seems to me that from where it goes that it connected to the old MILW next to Trent ave where the MILW used to have a small shop before they moved out to East Spokane to the yard UP currently uses after lifting their own. The so called Kendall Yards development is on the site of the original UP yard and roundhouse. The MILW tunnel goes under the old brewery and the SP&S tunnel under a cemetary.
