Well for the most part is they have the same response, that you wonder if it is a computer.

Usually the first question is, "Did you reset the BCCB?" (Battery Charger and Computer Breaker)

ME: "Well no, the locomotive is on engulfed in flames because it blew out the fuel injection system. Did you want me to try that?"




Now about 90% of the time, we end up isolating and shutting down the locomotive and pulling it dead-in-consist. I would say about 10% of the time a computer reset will work.
