What's so bad is the way Mangini was treated by the group HE Founded to fulfill the dream HE had, with others to get the 2472 operational. It won't make the front page anywhere, but I will lay odds that if Mangini were still around there would not have been the crisis with moving out of Hunter's Point. Yes the move MAY have had to be made, then again Mike had a broad base to draw from to get things done in a different way than first envisioned. He got a whole whale of a lot accomplished for GGRM and then a few in the group(in my mind, mostly the publicity hounds and glory seekers) stabbed him in the back. Hope he has found somewhere to use his many talents where they are appreicated. As far as the collection, a lot of folks feel the in crowd got a lot of it, can't prove it but a lot of stuff "disappeared". The rail preservation community lost a lot. Lurker
