Those "yuppie puke(s)" are who you are suppose to be working for, so I doubt you were really a cop, more likely a troll.

And, if you were an actual PO, then it's probably good that you've retired from a high stress job, before you created lawsuits for your department and taxpayers from your burnt out attitude toward the public you're supposed to protect and serve.

I've worked with a lot of chips like Bill, who were consummate professionals, and my father had dozens of friends who were local PO's whom I grew up with, from his days as an LA Co Reserve Sheriff, and I've never heard that kind of crap out of any of them.

It is likely, if you actually were a PO, that you've never worked the transit bureau, who seem to like and have a great relationship with most of those "yuppie pukes" you seem to despise. I even know of an officer who even married one of those "yuppie pukes".

Yes, proper investigation is necessary, and it is often time consuming, which does inconvenience the public. Which is why training and communication can make a huge difference in how that is handled, in a timely, and efficient manner. But no, it should not just be an excuse to piss off those "yuppie pukes" who pay your purported pension, with badge heavy nonsense, to compensate for your apparent burn out.
