I find the estimated mileage traveled for the Mt. Hood to be somewhat high; unless the car ran thru to Chicago. A sleeping car with Pullman - run lounge is rather rare; especially post - war. Most RR's were very reluctant to share their 1st class bar revenue with Pullman.
