Who is going to buy this thing when the State has to divest it due to groaning losses? No connection at Mojave - dampens any interest from the class ones.

Indeed this is a commute op. San Jose Area Rapid Transit, Fresno Area Rapid Transit, Palmdale Area Rapid Transit, connected by an exorbitant but hokey backwoods meander.

Oh yeah, they envison stops in time around Mojave. You are thinking way too small. Jerry and his gang of growth-mongers are planning for 200 million souls in California.

Their problem is that a huge population does not guarantee properity let along solvency.
