If you actually think this then you haven't been paying attention. The carriers have made a herculean effort to get PTC deployed. Read the very first paragraph of the first post in this thread and add to that the companies who are actually developing the technology, like Wabtec, are not subject to fines if the deadlines are missed, only the carriers are. I can assure you that the development of PTC is still in its infancy and the companies doing it was virtually making it up as they go, and althought it has evolved, it is far from being ready for prime time. How is that the fault of the carriers?
