This is about moving on STEEL WHEELS on STEEL RAIL .
...with no station stops, LAUPT to Anaheim takes 30 minutes by rail (even behind an obsolete steam hulk like 3751).
Metrolink LAUPT to ARTIC takes 43 minutes .

I agree with you about the waste of the 2008 "HSR" tax grift !
I would vote yes on a 90mph rail plant upgrade LAUPT to Sacramento via Tehachapi (it's long past time to shake off the SP passenger ban).
