It seems that someone should show the math that feed will be delivered to the end consumer cheaper by rail. All the extra transfers and handling to ship by truck/rail/truck such a short distance can bring the price right back up again. With only a few grain cars a week you will have to be shipping a lot of other stuff to and from the central valley in mass to make it worth it.
