Praise for keeping the trains moving? What utter nonsense!
But, apparently you've never dealt with the operating rules concerning flooding over the top of the rails.....?
It does sound like someone does need to be fired, for putting those passengers and millions of dollars worth of taxpayer owned equipment at risk from electrocution and/or expensive damage from shorting out the electronics and traction motors, not "praised"....
It would appear that either the manager on seen who supposedly ordered them to go through this, or the drivers doing so, were acting inappropriately, given the conditions shown.
The only driver that deserves any "praise" at all is the one who had the courage to say "no" when ordered to proceed, as it was clearly unsafe to proceed, and stopped their train.
Since power is off in the second car, as it would appear those circuit breakers already went.
Safety is of the first importance, obedience to the rules is required.
