What we have here is another case of the tail wagging the dog....I still think a bike path along the rails is foolish and its too bad that $55,000 has been put up for a study on this bike path....the question is.....How many bikes will ride the path if it opens....Will it be in the 1,000, 5,000's I doubt it...It will most likely be a small group which SMART is trying to appease to avoid a law suit which the courts in Marin will allow it instead of throwing it out as a waist of time...Its a shame that SMART has to put up with this nonsense.
