Of course this only applies to using your bicycles instead of a car. That wouldn't account for joy rides for exercise and/or pleasure.

So if you do all of your commuting, errand running, etc. on a bike instead of a car, then do all of your exercise on a stationary bike in your living room, you may have a valid point.
