The article in the P - I mentioned that the victim, although newly arrived in the area, worked at Emerald Downs Horse Track as a walker / groomer. The barns @ Emerald Downs ajoin the RR Right of Way, so he should have been quite aware of the rail traffic through the area. Also, the East side of the R of W has a large water - filled ditch along it; you really gotta wanna do it , to cross the tracks in this area. Darwin's Law strikes again ...
