Sounds more like the Ventura County Prosecutor is filing these legally "weak" charges more to cover for Keith's irresponsible babbling after the accident, as well as Rotem, and ML's a$$es.
This is because Keith was babbling about the "safe" "lifesaving" (but defectively built...) Rotem cars, which failed in a minor collision, causing the entire train to derail in a catastrophic fashion, which is what actually killed Glenn.
This sounds more like legal cover for politicians, Rotem, and Metrolink which are now going to be liable to millions in settlements? If this is the best that they can come up with, it's because they probably can't make much of a case on anything more serious?
I can't wait for the final NTSB report, this will be a real interesting read.
