One reason the trains have been so packed is that Kinkisharyu is behind on delivery of new P3010 class vehicles. Metro, in their usual opaque way, has not clarified how soon they should be 'caught up'. The fleet will be further stretched when the Expo Line extension to DTSM opens May 20.
Look forward to being a 'transit sardine' for a while ......
