Bob,
Interesting timing because just last Saturday (3/19) Sound Transit in Seattle had its inaugural public runs of a new extension from downtown to the University of Washington. This piece is going to have a huge impact. The old bus ride was 30 to 40 minutes, and the train is 8 minutes, which includes an intermediate stop. The inaugural runs were packed.

But yeah, trains everywhere suck!
