Is it just me, or does it seem like the only news we ever heard about CZRY or hear about PIRR is about run-aways, collisions, and derailments. I think if the folks at PIRR wants to learn about railroading, they should go volunteer at the museum at Campo. I just joined that group last year, but from what I've seen so far, they're training program is second to none. They're training is unbelievable!! I've been a professional rail since 1972 and I don't think I've ever seen a better system than these guys. Most volunteer museum groups always think rules are just annoying. But those Campo guys use the rules the right way and it really shows. I was invited to watch one of there morning safety meetings last year. They did a more thorough and professional job than most Class 1 railroads.
So if a small group of weekend volunteers can do it so well, why can PIRR get they're C**p together and quit being so wreckless??
