The Gatx covered hoppers were hauled off the line using one of the F7s, the cars that were towed off the line using dozers and loaders were 49,GE Railcar owned boxcars!
The PIR propaganda was, "We moved them off the line to begin construction of an intermodal facility
at Coyote Wells". Coyote Wells is at MP 122.5 and these cars had to be pulled 8 miles, to MP 129.6 to get them to where UP could pick them up! The owners wanted their cars back and had to hire the company to retrieve their cars! PIR owned the locomotives that rolled to Plaster City and destroyed the centerbeam flatcar! These units have been scavenged for parts and as far as I knew, were inoperable!
