DJ Waldie of the LA Times is right to complain about many aspects of LACMTA's deficiencies (e.g. the awful trip planner,not enough service at night and onl weekends). The only problem is that transit in LA is 10X better than it was only a few years ago. And, all segments of society are using the buses and trains in record numbers is the proof. His dubiuos ranting about the poor and downtrodden transit user is not the experience of most knowledgable users. And, this weird psuedo hip nonsense about the divide between those driven and those who drive, what a load of rubbish?

Journalists are often ignorant and make mistakes, we all do. But, it is even odder to listen to pundits and editorialist's who are never right about anything? Nor do they have to take any responsibility for being wrong?
