But can you picture what BART-Bechtel beer cans would like like after a crash even at a much slower speed? They literally swaybacked due to lack of structural integrity. The Bechtels should have been flogged thru the fleet for that.

SMART hitting a gravel truck or the like is a lot more likely than colliding with other rail rolling stock.

Max, a question. Can an electric light rail vehicle, say a Citadis, stop faster than a SMART Kinkosharyu diesel mechanical dmu?
