My first genuine train squished penny was on the SP line that ran behind my daycare in Monrovia, when I was about 5 years old. during the summer. It was run over by the SP Arcadia local that went all the way down Santa Clara Street, crossing the AT&SF, and proceeding across Santa Anita to the SP "yard", where Rusnak's new Porsche dealership is going in today. It clearly ruined my life, as I became aware of the sheer power of big choo-choo's, and wanted to run one.

How's that for long term memory?

How about you? What was your first coin squished by a train experience?
