These giant toads used to come up on the taxi way in Guam when it rained. I was driving a tow tractor when the taxi way flooded with the toads. I had no choice but to run them over on the way to get an aircraft off the runway with a flat tire. Every one I hit they sounded like paper bags popping. I also couldn't get any traction. I could only imagine a locomotive trying to get traction on a toad covered rail.
