They are only going a maximum of 43 miles. How many drinks can they have? It is only a beer and wine license so it's not like they would be slamming shots the whole way. If there are concerns about people over imbibing then limit the number of beverages to one.
Personally I would welcome the option to have a glass of wine while riding from San Rafiel to Santa Rosa.
The coffie service makes a lot of sense. I'm sure a lot of morning commuters will welcome it. The problem is selling enough product to enough passengers to make it worth while. If passengers are standing in line the whole trip while the barrista's make fancy coffies then it won't take long before they go back to picking up their morning brew at the local coffie shop before boarding the train. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
