Is it possible that the Las Vegas Limited did not succeed because of climate, cultural attitudes and the geographic situation as well in comparison to the Reno Fun Train which has.

The Northern California and Nevada Fun Train market has a colder wetter climate in comparison to the southern parts of those states so wouldn't riding the train to go to Reno be a more viable option than to Las Vegas in those winter months of incliment weather which more severly impacts travel at that time in Reno and Northern California in comparison?

And cultural considerations as well. Would driving a car rather than taking the train be a more acceptable option to go to Las Vegas provided that the automobile culture is more aceepted in the nearby Los Angeles area market for the Las Vegas Limited in comparison the San Francisco Bay Area where public transportation systems are longer established and more publicly accepted?

In Reno the Amtrak Station as well as the one in Sparks are located within immediate walking disrance of the only Casino district in those cities to serve the Fun Train passengers whereas in Las Vegas there are two (2) such districts i.e. Downtown where the Union Plaza Hotel (Once the site of the Amtrak Station) has been located and the strip which is a considerable distance from the Amtrak Station that was once located downtown.

Reasonable analysis of this situation or not?
