Here's a great article on overzealous DEA agents running about against non-cooperative sleeping car patrons and the fireworks that result. I could see Amtrak getting into some trouble with the Donald if it finds itself having to take sides on letting the DEA have a free hand to use heavy-handed stop-n-frisk tactics on its trains with its riders. If Amtrak's head for whatever reason refuses to cooperate with the Trump's Justice Department, we could see fireworks, including an attack on the railroads by Trump, as payback or just as part of Trump's "hero narrative".

Remember Andrew Jackson's war on the U.S. Bank? "The bank--I will kill it." I believe he said. Donald Trump is a Jacksonian president and will probably find himself in a similar situation with Amtrak.
