OK. I don't get it. The last post says for Smart expansion. Right now Smart ends essentially at San Rafael. OK they plan to get the row rebuilt past Bret Harte and through the tunnel to Larkspur. That said. How are they going to get to the Alto Tunnel from Larkspur? The bridge is gone and there are no more tracks to Corte Madera from Larkspur. The row is on the east side of highway 101 and Corte Madera and the main part of the town of Larkspur are on the West side of highway 101.
Originally, to get to that route, You either came down from San Anselmo/Ross/Kentfield through the towns of Larkspur and Corte Madera or you came back through from Mill Valley after switching at Tiburon/Sausalito. A great deal of that infrastructure has been taken over by local businesses or individuals. Or how are they going to get there from here?
