SMART Builds Single Track Line to Sausalito

Mook thanks for explaining what has happened on the SMART line. Now could they build a single track main line to Sausalito if the space for the double track is gone? Because one thing I notice is the station at Larkspur Landing is too far from the ferry. While in Sausalito they can run the train right up to the ferry terminal. I see that there is a bike path from Sausalito north to the larkspur trestle. They condemn this line, get it for pennies, and connect SMART to the Sausalito Ferry. Don't you think this could work?
