It never ceases to amaze me how there could be any sort of water shortage in Washington State, when all we heard all winter and spring was about all the washouts, and how y'all were drowning in the stuff. Same goes for much of the nation too, especially the midwest.

In the meantime, mandatory water rationing has been imposed in some Northern California communities. Granted, though our fall and winter rainfall was ordinary, we did have a dry spring. The water all went north.

Apparently, you got some of our water fascists too - it would seem.
You can keep 'em - But we want our water back!

Oh, I almost forgot:
This funny weather always happens when the "Pacific High Pressure Ridge" off the coast of California cycles stronger (about every 10-20 years).

And what causes that? - A colder Alaskan Current in the Pacific.
