That sounds like a guy that shouldn't be a cop, if he is one. Worry about the wet backs not the hikers or nude walkers.

There are hikers up and down that area. You have the clothing optional place, DeAnza Springs at one end of the canyon and then its down to the desert floor and on to Plaster City. A lot of wet backs use the route getting farther into the US.

Can't remember the year I was there and rode between Plaster City and Jucumba on a sand train. I was going to train engineers in grade operations but they paid in bounced checks so I left. The Godfather finally got his money but it was almost 2 years later. The tunnels were in bad shape. The track was pumping a lot of mud and a ties were rotten.
