The term always was "wetback" and it's not derisive, what "race" is an illegal alien? If they're a
long term Mexican resident they might be part Indian, but what "race" is that? Are you or any of
you saying that "Spanish" is a race? Ever been to Europe, the people in Spain are hardly a separate
"race". Coming to this country illegally used to be a crime (it still is if they'd enforce it) and
was looked down upon. The laws haven't changed, opinions have but it still doesn't make it right.
