Will all the posters on this site that has had any responsibility in a supervisory capacity for any of the Operation, Maintenance or construction of the NWP in the Eel River Canyon please raise their hands.
I would like to have someone enlighteen me as how they would stabalize all of the mud glaciers (slides) that effect the RR in the canyon. This does not include the slip outs from under the track structure (sinks).
There is not enough resources in the US treasury to stabalize this roadbed from MP 160 to MP 260. The length of the RR along the Eel River.
My expertise was the observation of the Eel River taking out a major postion of the RR in 1964 from Farley to Stone and being responsible for resoring same in 177 Days.
