Thx for comments.. note No 8 is what? 17 hrs late RIGHT NOW ...but No. 7 having passed the same route ..only running close to 3 hrs late by contrast.. NO. 7 seems consistently to do better that No. 8... === I once enjoyed a late arrival in New Orleans on No. 2 and missed the connect with the Crescent which was a good thing because we didn't miss a beat..they gave us a rmette to Chgo and upgrade to bedroom on the Capitol to D.C. .. a whole extra day on the train...
