According to T.O. they (#1400 & 1401) did go east on #4 even thought they delayed train departure by two hours due to "air problems".

I'd like to get some photos posted. Does anyone know the AAR reporting marks for these WSDOT Chargers? There is a small Oregon DOT logo on them also as well as "Amtrak Cascades".

A Caltran (CDTX) Charger went west to Oakland with the others also.
