We're talking maybe four (Virginia City) blocks, 1500 feet of track, but it would have been on the historic yard between the passenger and freight depots. The north portal would have been on E Street in the middle of the block between Taylor and Union Streets. The track would pass the front door of the Comstock History Center where V&T #18 is on display.
