They could also have been checked the (all)cars a day or two prior to the departure date and hold Amtrak accountable to have the cars ready and working properly. That would also take care of any other issues and servicing of the cars on the entire train-seems very little care servicing took place-no complaint but opportunity for improvement next time. The A/C on two of those horizon cars was not working that morning and caused all the issues with the medical and late departure. The turning of the train in Prineville took a bit more time than maybe it needed to be-and the schedule may have been a bit optimistic. Over all it really was a good trip with lots of effort to plan and put on.
