4449 Bend, OR excursion - Two Amtrak cars toilets not working

I have some family members aboard the excursion, they report that the car they are in (Amtrak Horizon coach) and the car next to them (also Amtrak Horizon) have non-working toilets. This is unacceptable. Does Amtrak loan the crappiest cars it can find for these excursions? This trip is at least 8-10 hours, they also report the A/C is not working very well. And no, I don't have money to give Amtrak for new cars.
