The photographer is standing on POUND CAKE HILL looking north with Temple Street as the cross street at the base of the hill. That is a common error perpetuated by the current generation of historians. Bunker Hill was south of First Street. Pound Cake Hill was between First and Temple. Fort Moore Hill was between Temple Street and Sunset Boulevard. That is the same car stop (Temple and Hill Sts looking South) as shown in the Burt Lancaster thread.
