I hope this never happens...This countries passenger trains are suppose to be a service to the community...During the age of steam and early diesel, passenger trains were on time, in most cases you could set your watch by them. Now you can't plan a trip that has connections, because there is a very good chance you will not arrive for the next connection and have to spend time in a hotel for the next days train...I blame this on the freight railroads with their ever desire to run longer trains that don't fit into sidings..And super long work windows that never use to happen as maintance has become so mechanical that it takes some time up to 10 hours to do what a manned track gang could do and keep the trains running...So one can imagine what the traveler will face if the private's take over, as we will see an end to train travel as we once knew it....
