Ever hear of nose cameras? In that grade crossing accident a few years back where the float in the Veteran's day parade go hit by the UP train, the survivors/hers sued the UP. The UP walked into court and presented the event recorder tapes from the crossing apparatus. Then the UP showed nose camera video, which exonerated both the engineer and the UP and placed the blame squarely on the driver of the float.
